He’s a busy boy, is Melbourne’s **Mohammad Sharab** — and he’s rubbing shoulders with the elite of the Melbourne left.

Sharab is, of course, on bail for his alleged part in a shocking kidnapping in Melbourne in March. Along with prominent Muslim activist, **Laura Allam**, Sharab is accused of taking part in [a brutal kidnapping](https://www.ynetnews.com/article/hkc4g8lrt?ref=goodoil.news) which included beating with hammers and stomping on the victim’s head. The victim’s injuries included fractures to his back, fingers, cuts to his head and bruises to his shoulders and hands.

The kidnapping was, [as I reported for *The BFD*](https://thebfd.co.nz/2024/02/29/is-this-that-peaceful-majority-were-told-about/?ref=goodoil.news), initially subject to one of the most extraordinary gag orders in recent memory. Not just the accuseds’ names, but the community and religion they belong to (Muslim), as well as the community and religion of the business owner (Jewish) whom the victim worked for.

But Sharab is not resting idle while he’s on bail.

As journalist **Avi Yemini** reports, Sharab is a hyper-aggressive regular at “pro-Palestine” protests in Melbourne. Where he hangs out with some very prominent people.

> Greens MP **Gabrielle de Vietri** was spotted addressing a rally at Melbourne’s Federation Square on Thursday, alongside accused kidnapper Mohammad Sharab.
>
> Despite claims from a Greens spokesperson that Sharab was not a scheduled speaker, his presence raised eyebrows, especially considering his alleged involvement in a violent kidnapping incident earlier this year.
>
> The event, which also featured figures like controversial feminist **[Clementine Ford](https://thebfd.co.nz/2024/02/13/clammy-dusts-off-her-brown-shirt/?ref=goodoil.news)** and Burgertory restaurant owner **Hash Tayeh**, drew attention due to Sharab’s connection to an ongoing criminal case

Such company the “progressive” left keep.

Remember the media histrionics when **Tony Abbott** was merely photographed in somewhat proximity to a banner depicting then-PM **Julia Gillard** as a cartoon witch? Not to mention the bile thrown at **Kellie-Jay Keen** and **Moira Deeming** when an uninvited gang of neo-Nazis gatecrashed their rally?

But it’s apparently just fine for Greens MPs to hang out with kidnappers and anti-Semites who publish “Jew lists”.

Not to mention dodgy “Palestinian” restaurant owners who foment pogroms in the heart of Melbourne.

> Palestinian-Australian owner Hash Tayeh falsely labelled the fire at Burgertory in Caulfield, which resulted in extensive damages amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars, as a ‘hate crime’ linked to his high-profile activism against Israel.
>
> Tayeh’s claims incited an angry mob to travel to and protest in the heart of the Melbourne Jewish community, where the group violently attacked locals.
>
> Police were forced to deploy pepper spray and evacuated a synagogue after 100 protesters gathered in a park across the road during Shabbat prayers on the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht \[…\]
>
> Moreland Futsal Club president **Deren Saban** called for members of the Jewish community to be ‘bombed’ to ‘give them a taste of their own medicine’ before attempting to walk back his online comments, saying they should have been better ‘articulated’.

In true “Palestinian” fashion, what’s the point of falsely claiming to be a victim, if you can’t cash in on it?

> A Go Fund Me campaign raised almost $65,000 to ‘Rebuild Burgetory’ falsely claiming that ‘Hash Tayeh an Australian-Palestinian has been subjected to a hate crime’.

In fact, the arson appears to be linked to Tayeh’s fellow Arabs.

> On Tuesday, Victoria Police arrested the alleged ringleader of the now dubbed Middle Eastern ‘tobacco wars’ Tayeh was commenting on before the arson of his shop.
>
> “Very shortly after the taskforce was established, we commenced an investigation into a 25-year-old man from Epping, who police believe is one of the significant ringleaders on behalf of a … Middle Eastern organised crime group,” taskforce Lunar’s Detective Inspector **Graham Banks** said on Tuesday.

Tayeh has since skipped out of the country, with Police alleging the Burgertory owner was uncooperative with their investigations.
