They go together like cookies and ~~cream~~…spam?

According to [Delish](https://www.delish.com/food-news/a35022535/mcdonalds-spam-oreo-burger/?ref=goodoil.news), McDonald’s is releasing a “unique” new burger in China today:

Sorry, that’s how it works,” he said in the tweet.

Surely this is a joke?

Then again, when shopping in Meadowlands years back I came across horseflesh flavoured ice cream right beside Green tea flavoured icecream in an Asian supermarket.

I remarked to my young son at the time that I didn’t think that the Chinese really understood the concept of sweet desserts although they certainly had savoury dishes down to a fine art.
