It’s been revealed that a National Party staffer has been caught ‘spiking’ the Leader of the Opposition’s cups of tea with Viagra in an apparent attempt to revive the party leadership from its limp ratings in recent polls and general flaccidity in presenting the National Party as a forceful alternative to the current government.

While the drug is widely recognised as a method of improving men’s performance ratings with women in the tricky 40-55 demographic, the staffer has been stood down pending further investigation by the party whip.

A prominent feminist group has commented that a ‘front bone’ is no substitute for a backbone, while social commentators lament that there are in fact already far too many men with front bones and no backbone and that this is a key driver of many of the social ills we face today.
