# British Medical Journal Investigation into Pfizer

A week ago, **The BFD** published [a review of the Pfizer vaccine trials](https://goodoil.news/misleading-use-of-statistics-to-pfizers-advantage/) in which I analysed the actual data released by the company. The takeaway for readers was that the **numbers simply did not justify government decisions**. Pfizer trumpeted headlines about over 43,000 participants enrolled in the trial, which sounds like a lot of people, but the actual results were based on just **170** who ended up getting Covid. This was a small trial with a statistically insignificant outcome.

My intention was to prepare readers for an investigation by the British Medical Journal. The investigation is proper journalism. It avoids medical jargon and is an easy read. Interviews with researchers who carried out the trials reveal a litany of complaints about bad practice, falsifications, and a failure to audit the results.

Astonishingly, *“An FDA review memorandum released in August this year states that across the full trial swabs were *not taken* from *477* people with suspected cases of symptomatic covid-19”.*

For a trial that draws its conclusions from a mere 170 cases of Covid, to leave out another 477 makes the entire process utterly meaningless.

I propose a hypothesis that the *“waning”* efficacy of the vaccine is not real; instead, the Pfizer vaccine never gave the 96% protection that was claimed, and the decline cannot be blamed on the delta variant.

Official statistics are so compromised that there is no longer any certainty, so I am guessing that the vaccine appears to reduce hospitalisations by, maybe, half. This is still useful, but governments around the world put all their eggs in the vaccine basket based on false information. The *“science”* supporting mandates and 90% targets has now been thoroughly debunked. The sooner the Labour Government admits that, the better. We need a complete rethink of Covid policies.
