# Crybaby of the Week

Today’s Crybaby is a student who complained that the bank “[gave her too much debt](https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/114250660/student-says-others-should-learn-from-her-8000-debt-mistake?ref=goodoil.news)” when all they did was give her a facility **which she didn’t have to use.** She has two learning opportunities:

1) Just because you have a loan facility, an overdraft and a credit card, doesn’t mean you have to spend it all, because if you do you’re going to have debt (that YOU gave yourself, not the bank), and

2) It’s never a good idea to go to the press telling a story of how stupid you’ve been.

Let’s hope that she learns those lessons.
