The Georgia Secretary of State recorded President Trump, then lied about the content of the call, then attempted to delete the recording (found [during FOIA search](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlUItuAxLjg&ref=goodoil.news)), which led to the [Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/?ref=goodoil.news) issuing the following

Keep in mind the institutions of our intensely political bureaucracy have preferred media outlets to construct their narratives. The State Department use CNN. The FBI use The New York Times; and the CIA use The Washington Post.

The media *misattributed quotes*? Think about that. They tried to impeach President Trump based on [misattributed quotes](https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/media-misquoted-trump-phone-call-georgia-investigator?ref=goodoil.news).
