Senior Party Whip Duncan Webb has been “[called in to help manage the situation](https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2022/08/labour-refuses-to-comment-on-senior-staffer-s-new-bullying-allegations.html?ref=goodoil.news)” over the past two years concerning Labour MP Dr Gaurav Sharma. PM Ardern’s public demeanour this week was one of ‘Poor Gaurav: he’s a newbie and is struggling a bit. We’ve reached out to ensure he gets the support he needs.’

But, Sharma has dug in, adding that bullying MPs are rampant in parliament and [assisted by parliamentary service working with **party whips and leaders**](https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/472770/labour-mp-gaurav-sharma-i-stand-by-my-claims-of-ongoing-bullying?ref=goodoil.news). He specifically named Duncan Webb, Kieran McAnulty and Ardern’s office.

In this [this clip](https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/129559320/senior-staffer-levels-bullying-allegation-at-labour-mp?ref=goodoil.news), a more serious Ardern reads from a prepared script and “disputes the allegations” Sharma has raised.

But, nope. It’s not working. **A senior staffer with over 10 years’ experience resigned this month and has [lobbed allegations at another Labour MP – Anna Lorck](https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/129559320/senior-staffer-levels-bullying-allegation-at-labour-mp?ref=goodoil.news).** And Duncan Webb was involved in that case, too.

In a week when Labour *should* have been rubbing its hands with glee at the Uffindell bullying saga, the party appears to be imploding from within.
