Yesterday, the National Party held its annual conference.

The party says its main focus is on crime and justice. National Party leader Christopher Luxon says violent crime has “increased by 33 per cent, retail crime has doubled and gangs are growing faster than Police.”

Luxon also said National will bring back the “three strikes” policy and clear directions for judges to apply.
