In a modern spin on the biblical tale of Daniel in the lion’s den National leader Luxon unwittingly wandered into the business of freedom-loving **Lance Goodman.**

Goodman had braved Trevor Mallard’s vindictive nighttime sprinklers and torture music to **defiantly dance** in his underwear to Baby Shark.

But apart from his determination to have fun in Freedom Village he also was a serious supporter of the protest, bringing with him four trucks, and helping with food preparation.

> He was one of the thousands of protesters **ignored** by the likes of Luxon.

Then, thanks to a twist of fate, hard-hearted Luxon, a collaborator of the regime who had watched as the protesters were violently removed by riot police was dropped right into his lap.

All I can say is that Goodman is a better person than I am. I would have greeted Luxon with a sprinkler and Baby Shark!
