This is not just bad judgment – it is a slap in the face to every victim of violent crime, every grieving family, and every hard-working New Zealander who has suffered at the hands of organised crime.

National Spokesperson, Louise Parsons said: “This grotesque display tells New Zealanders everything they need to know about where these political parties truly stand. While law-abiding Kiwis are crying out for safer streets, these politicians are kneeling at the feet of gang leaders who build their empires on intimidation, drug distribution, and brutal violence.”

The trust warns that a future **Labour-Greens-Te Pāti Māori-TOP** coalition would completely dismantle hard-won law and order measures, hand control back to criminal syndicates, and actively reverse the progress made to protect local communities:

- **Scrapping the Gang Patch Ban:** They will rip up National’s ban on gang patches, allowing violent gang members to march through our shopping centres and neighbourhoods completely unchecked.
- **Funding Criminal Enterprises:** They will reopen the taxpayer piggy bank for gang-affiliated organisations – just like Labour did when they funnelled millions of dollars directly into the hands of the Mongrel Mob under the guise of ‘rehabilitation’.
- **Guttering Police and Victim Support:** They will strip away penalties for offenders and weaken our police force, sacrificing community safety on the altar of soft-on-crime ideology.

Even former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was forced to admit that focus in the police portfolio was lost when Labour was caught handing millions of taxpayer dollars to criminal mobs. Yet, Chris Hipkins and his prospective coalition partners have learnt absolutely nothing. They are ready to sacrifice public safety once again to appease gang leadership.

### **The reality on our streets speaks for itself:**

Law and order measures work. Violent crime victim numbers are dropping, Auckland ram raids have plummeted by 96 per cent since 2022, and visible police presence is bringing accountability back to our suburbs.

“A nation that lets gang bosses dictate law and order policy is a nation in total collapse. Kiwis deserve to feel safe in their homes, businesses, and parks. We cannot allow Harry Tam, the Mongrel Mob, or their political enablers to run this country,” concluded Parsons.
