The Prime Minister has announced she is cancelling spring.

‘Warmer, sunnier weather may encourage people to get outside and enjoy life. There is also a very slim chance that this will spread covid. So I hereby declare spring to be cancelled.’

Asked how she was going to do this, Ardern replied: ‘I have expert meteorologists working out the details. But with the team of five million behind us, we can do anything. Be kind.’

Minister for covid overreaction, Chris Hipkins warned newborn lambs not to gambol and daffodils not to bloom or there would be swift action from authorities.
