The pamphlet explained, with a great many pictures for the illiterate, that it’s not acceptable in Britain to rape women, or even stare at or harass them in public. It appears the pamphlet hasn’t been that effective. > [Private security guards](https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-16113757/city-migrants-Asylum-seekers-RAF-base-fear-Essex.html?ref=goodoil.news) carried out their first patrol in Essex today after male migrants have left women scared to go out alone. > > The Reform-led county council has hired contractors to monitor migrants on the streets of Colchester, Braintree and Chelmsford – with the first walkabouts starting this morning. That is the story the rest of the country should write down. It took a Reform council to do what Essex Police, Whitehall and every legacy party would not: put someone between British women and the imported creeps. Wethersfield has been warehousing single adult males – who, coincidentally, seem to make up nearly all of the illegals flooding across the Channel – since 2023\. Seventeen Home Office minibuses now ferry them daily into three town centres. The government, having discovered that hotels are politically toxic, is farming the illegals out to regional towns instead and hoping no one notices. Funnily enough, people tend to notice groups of creepy foreigners leering at women. Especially the women. The men arrive in groups. They hang around in groups. And according to the people who actually live there, they behave like groups of men who have not read the pamphlet: or have, and found it hilarious. Women are told to cover up. Girls are filmed on phones. Groups stare, make comments or follow. Shop worker **Sophie Edmonds**, 33, no longer walks Colchester alone. > ‘Me and my friends have had comments and looks. They make noises. I hate it. We don’t walk around here on our own. It’s too worrying. > > ‘They stare in groups. It’s really intimidating. I’ve lived here all my life. I never had a bad experience in Colchester until the migrants moved into the camp. > > ‘I feel so passionately about it because you shouldn’t feel unsafe in your own town. You should be fine to walk out in the day and go to work without fear of something bad happening. Nobody listens to us though.’ Well, Reform did. Britain, take note. This is what passes for civic order in a market town in England: a private firm called My Local Bobby, run by an ex-Met detective, doing the job the actual police will not. > **Lee Summers**, 45, has lived in Chelmsford all his life and said lack of police on the streets had made the situation worse. > > He added: ‘You don’t see police around here. Yet there’s been numerous reports for months and months now. I know women who come out in groups. They won’t come in here alone. > > ‘It’s a good idea to have these extra patrols. But how did it come to this? Where have the police been?’ Where indeed. Essex Police can always find a spare sergeant when someone posts the wrong meme, misgenders a colleague or notices that the new arrivals are not behaving like the Village Green Preservation Society. Investigating social media is easy, though. Standing between a pack of predatory men and a 16-year-old on her way home from school, not so easy. Protecting British women from imported rapists and harassers is optional. Policing thoughts is mandatory. The Home Office, with a straight face, insists “public safety is a priority”. Clearly not: not when these men are not put straight back on a plane to wherever they launched the dinghy. Instead they get 24-hour site security, CCTV, ‘engagement’ with police, communal recreation and a complimentary bus into town so they can spend the afternoon explaining British dress codes to other people’s daughters. Oh, and the pamphlets. Don’t forget the pamphlets. The pamphlet told them not to whistle, not to make kissing noises, not to follow and not to rape.
