# Happy Belated  Birthday to the BFD

It is hard to believe that we first launched *The BFD* in August three years ago. In fact, we have been so busy that I completely forgot to celebrate our birthday!

We have gone from strength to strength thanks to our amazing BFD team. Without them, there never would have been a launch, let alone a brand new rocket to speed us through the space of the internet for more than three years!

*The BFD* has been a team effort from day one and I cannot express just how grateful I am for their loyalty and efforts week in and week out. Behind the scenes, we have a lot of fun as we join each other every day in our online office to brainstorm ideas, joke, collaborate and generally chew the fat about the topics of the day.

A big thank you too to our loyal members who believe in *The BFD* enough to invest in our future. It is because of you that we are able to grow and add new content as well as work towards [launching our NewsDesk](https://thebfd.co.nz/campaigns/newsdesk/?ref=goodoil.news) so thank you sincerely.

*The BFD* community is just amazing and it is a privilege to serve you all.
