National’s [parachute candidate](https://thebfd.co.nz/2019/10/worst-kept-secret-luxon-gets-his-parachute-ready/?ref=goodoil.news) Chris Luxon in Botany is feeling the strain already, nodding off at a public meeting Saturday at the Buddhist Temple in Botany.

Either that or he was praying for it all to go away.

Or was he was collecting some [Chinese donation ](https://thebfd.co.nz/2019/11/jlr-knows-how-the-national-party-operates/?ref=goodoil.news)money? (just kidding)

Then again he could use Winston’s excuse and say he was just resting his eyes and was in deep contemplation…yeah that will work.
