Looks like at least one [Wellingtonian](https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-air/wellington/wellington-mornings-with-nick-mills/audio/nick-mills-wellington-has-completely-lost-its-way-thats-why-no-one-wants-to-move-here/?ref=goodoil.news) gets it, kind of.

Actually Wellington isn’t in a hole: it is a hole. After all, this is a place that elected a useless Green Mayor who wouldn’t even be able to run a backyard sprinkler. To be fair, as an Aucklander I have to say that Auckland isn’t far behind. At least in Wellington Mr Patel doesn’t have to sleep in his dairy with a shotgun by his side.
