# New Zealand Pie

A long long time ago I can still remember how That music used to make me smile And I knew if I had my chance That I could make those Kiwi's dance And maybe they'd be happy for a whileBut March 2022 made me shiver  
With every newspaper I delivered  
Bad news on the doorstep  
I couldn't take one more step

When I read about how Ardern lied  
Something touched me deep inside  
The day New Zealand died, SoBye, bye Miss New Zealand Pie  
Drove my Hilux to the river but the river was dry  
And them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye  
Singin' this'll be the day that we die

Or is the communist manifesto in your glove  
Do you hate the Bible so?  
Do you believe in rock and roll?  
Can music save your mortal soul?

With a pink carnation and a Hilux truck  
But I knew Ardern had F#&cked it up
