**New Zealand and five Nordic nations have jointly called for unrestricted humanitarian access to Gaza and full implementation of the new U.S.-brokered ceasefire.** 

Following talks in Stockholm, Foreign Minister Winston Peters and his counterparts from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden said they welcomed “the first phase of the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict” and stood ready to help carry it out.

The ministers urged both sides to honour the deal, support a two-state solution, and allow aid to flow freely to civilians. They also reaffirmed backing for the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court, and endorsed UN reforms aimed at strengthening global governance.

Beyond Gaza, the group agreed to boost cooperation in trade, innovation, aquaculture, and polar research, and reaffirmed support for Pacific priorities under the 2050 Blue Pacific Strategy.
