# Political Pogrom

Say what you will about the evil actions of Hitler, he certainly seemed to understand the human psyche and to know how to tap into man’s basest instincts.

Hitler’s view was that if you are not willing to fight for your life then you do not deserve it. And therein lies the rub with conservatism. We are all terribly civil and mild mannered and law abiding citizens. We feel uncomfortable about rocking the boat and calling BS on our political opponents. So I would ask… how many are prepared to fight for their way of life? And do not get me wrong, there are more ways to ‘fight’ than the physical.

How many will put their hands in their pockets and [**financially support**](https://thebfd.co.nz/subscription-plans/?ref=goodoil.news) those people and organisations who would stand up for Conservative values? For clearly not all are capable of putting up a physical fight and even if we are, violence is never the answer.

I see the recent aggressive and often violent BLM protests as being more akin to a **political pogrom** than anything else. The left and the right of politics are increasingly becoming like oil and water… incapable of mixing or living peacefully with each other. On first sight I saw it as an ethnic/economic pogrom but on closer inspection it is not. It is not simply about the *have not’s* resenting those that have, for all too often it is the rich liberals who are encouraging and facilitating the civil unrest.

The struggle that is unfolding before us is for our very way of life and the left have identified our weakness as **an unwillingness to raise our head above the parapet.** You think this will go away if you keep your head down and say nothing… it will not. This battle will be for our very survival and for that of our children. It is time to decide where you stand, and what you are prepared to do in order to [**support** ](https://thebfd.co.nz/subscription-plans/?ref=goodoil.news)Conservatism.
