It’s why **Julie Burchill** coined the term *cry-bullies*. Politicians are some of the worst offenders: these glass-jawed oppressors can dish it out by the shovel-load, but the instant we peasants answer back, they scream and wail like toddlers who’ve been told ‘no’ for the first time in their lives. The cry-bullies have been screeching like banshees following last week’s attempted murder of independent MP **Helen Haines**. While the attack on Haines is shocking and intolerable, the hypocritical, self-serving opportunism of the political class is beyond disgusting. Take, for instance, PM **Anthony Albanese**: this nasty little political grub spent the last few weeks shopping around a [scurrilous, unfounded dirt-sheet](https://goodoil.news/pm-shipped-dirt-sheet-on-haines/) on Haines, solely because she criticised him for the blatant pork-barrelling of millions of taxpayer dollars to the golf club not just in his electorate (where his poll numbers are in a nosedive), but directly across the road from his investment property. Yet, here he is now, crying crocodile tears and exploiting the tragedy for all he’s worth. > [A Labor caucus](https://www.theaustralian.com.au/nation/politics-latest-labor-solar-plan-questioned-amid-battery-cost-blowouts/live-coverage/2a74cc79460f05ff42269e753fa596d8?ref=goodoil.news) spokesman confirmed the prime minister told his MPs at a meeting on Tuesday he was looking at additional security measures for them, including duress alarms \[…\] > > “This is particularly acute for women members of caucus, who often receive vile and misogynistic threats to their safety and increased hatred online, often of a violent and sexual nature.” This, remember, from the PM who told his MPs to “smash” **Pauline Hanson** and whose closest political allies are the triumverate of “Mean Girls” who bullied one of their own colleagues to death. Spare us the fake sanctimony, you revolting little grub. Note, too, that duress alarms would have done nothing to prevent the attack on Haines by **Brendan Nugent**, a violent leftist radical who had spent two years parroting the violent rhetoric of Labor and the Greens against Jews. And who had already been arrested in 2022, after confronting police armed with a garden stake. His social media account was also followed by the Greens leader, **David Shoebridge**. So he wasn’t exactly flying under the radar. And spare us the self-serving wailing: for years, Australians facing escalating violent crime, from immigrant thugs especially, have been dismissed out of hand by the political class. ‘There’s no such thing as African gangs,’ we were finger-wagged. Just pay no attention to those gangs of African thugs armed with machetes running rampant in shopping centres and rioting on beaches and at public festivals. That’s all just your racist imagination. Brendan Nugent is surely the only violent criminal in Victoria not to be immediately released under that state’s revolving-door bail system. Jewish Australians, too, have been living under a black cloud of fear, ever since a thousands-strong Muslim mob stormed the October 7 vigil at the Sydney Opera House, chanting ‘Gas the Jews!’ Nothing was done: the only person arrested was a Jewish man carrying an Israeli flag. And nothing was done for the next two years, even as the howling anti-Jewish hate spiralled into increasing violence, culminating in the massacre of dozens of Jewish Australians by Muslims, at Bondi. Some of the most vocally antisemitic cry-bullies are now crying the loudest for special protection. > Independent West Australian Senator **Fatima Payman** has used the deliberate attack on crossbencher Helen Haines outside her electorate office to demand additional staff from Anthony Albanese. > > In a Senate estimates hearing on Monday night, Senator Payman questioned whether the prime minister was waiting for her to suffer a Haines-style attack before granting her requests for additional staff. By what possible metric does she deserve more staff? She was the Australian equivalent of a List MP, elected on the bottom rung of a party ticket, with a microscopic vote of barely more than 1600 votes. By rights, as a dual-citizen, she shouldn’t even be sitting in parliament at all. As for her cry-bully antics, perhaps she should consider why people might be angry at her? After all, this Afghan national, who was granted freedom and safety and a fat parliamentary pay-packet, defected from the Labor party solely because she sides with Hamas. That is, her overriding political priority is not Australians, but the knuckle-dragging savages whose sole moral compass is killing Jews. She chanted the Hamas genocidal slogan, “From the River to the Sea” in parliament, the equivalent of a brownshirted neo-Nazi singing the *Horst Wessel Lied* in the nation’s seat of government. She has also publicly supported the Iranian regime, twittering, even as thousands of Iranian women were being tortured and murdered by the regime, that Iran was an “incredible place” for women. And she publicly mocked the murder of **Charlie Kirk**.
