# Support Mike King in Russell: 7th July Wednesday

Travel to Russell on the 7th to see and support **Mike King** this coming Wednesday.

His event at the [Russell Boating Club](https://russellboatingclub.org.nz/?ref=goodoil.news) is booked out. His event at the [Nauti Penguin](https://www.facebook.com/nautipenguin/) is filling well too.

At the Nauti Penguin Mike will speak from 3pm. The show is free (with Koha) – I am so confident you will love it (you’ll laugh and cry – sometimes at the same time) that I will give you your money back if you don’t.

It is a chance for anyone from Whangarei north to hear Mike speak on well-being. It is also a chance to show support for a NZ Legend battling a huge bureaucracy for the good of many thousands of young people. If you are not aware **654** people took their own lives in NZ in the year ended June 2020.

$1.9billion has been “announced” by government to help – it has resulted in **5 extra beds**.
