The Taxpayers Union has revealed that the film ‘Wolf Warrior II’, produced by state-owned Chinese companies, is advertised with the tagline:

## **‘Anyone who offends China, no matter how remote, must be exterminated.’**

Yes, you read that correctly…it said **EXTERMINATED!**

The New Zealand government has funded a film using taxpayers money [of $243,000](https://www.taxpayers.org.nz/r?u=5xNnogsdD9yGIfGEM2rlXVmVCY4ANUJ4SoMnzguSGYydvAjOJQX76hT-6HCt5pqJWjw2IFnxzm-NSXJuHtQaQF6DhhmScHpmyvG-trGL9TqHQZWgMtdD59mepFZWcla3g6qmS0lo6ARGkTAw2tNgMWWtShNl%5FBhgLfEnAc3IJOM&e=8d1357073ebc33070ff9a64e947e9f2d&utm%5Fsource=taxpayers&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fcampaign=191120%5Ftu%5Fnwsltr&n=4) with the tag line:

## ‘**Anyone who offends China, no matter how remote, must be exterminated.’**

Yup. [A cool $243,000](https://www.taxpayers.org.nz/r?u=5xNnogsdD9yGIfGEM2rlXVmVCY4ANUJ4SoMnzguSGYydvAjOJQX76hT-6HCt5pqJWjw2IFnxzm-NSXJuHtQaQF6DhhmScHpmyvG-trGL9TqHQZWgMtdD59mepFZWcla3g6qmS0lo6ARGkTAw2tNgMWWtShNl%5FBhgLfEnAc3IJOM&e=8d1357073ebc33070ff9a64e947e9f2d&utm%5Fsource=taxpayers&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fcampaign=191120%5Ftu%5Fnwsltr&n=4) Kiwi dollars to promote VIOLENT Chinese Nationalism.

By using their money to promote violent Chinese Nationalism the government has made NZ Taxpayers complicit.

Let that sink in for one minute.

> Those Chinese dissidents who chose to live in New Zealand to escape state-funded incitements to violence deserve an explanation, if not an apology.
>
> **Taxpayers should not be forced to fund political propaganda** of any kind. This case is an extreme example, but it’s a strong argument against our government’s programme of corporate welfare for the film industry.
