# The BFD Comment of the Week

Ryan VFF isn’t a party for starters. I never realised that wanting to have control over my own life, wanting government to be small and conscientious, being worried about authoritarian over reach and being worried about unelected overseas entities having all the say in our country, makes me extreme and fringe. The fact these people on this video seem to think the rubbish Labour and National are offering up and have been offering up for decades, is normal and desired, is a real worry.

If they think a push for co-governance, a call for being soft on crime, an effort to get as many girls as possible hooked on the DPB with no way out for her and her kids, a declining health and education system, a rise in crime to the extent that it’s just become the norm, and many other problems in our disintegrating society, is the way to go, then I’m lost for words.

We have the society we have now from years of poor governance and a “look the other way” attitude from citizens because they didn’t want to be seen as the moral puritans speaking out about the moral decay of society. All that these “fringe, extremist” parties are offering up is a return to an ethical society, one with a few morals and common sense and a feel of community and self-sufficiency.

I’m sorry that these guys think that is something to be laughed at and mocked. I hope they enjoy living behind gated communities, fearing for their lives, as society continues to further degrade. For some of us though we may not be able to afford that lifestyle and will have to put up with the rubbish these guys voted for while they scoffed at the rest of us.
