# The BFD Stuff Up of the Day

**Wibble**: In yesterday’s *NZ Herald* they led with a heartbreaking story that would bring tears to the eyes of any loving couple on their special day. Sadly, it seems that one poor man’s “bride-to-be” may be unable to attend her own wedding today due to adverse weather conditions. Imagine your wedding being cancelled just because your beloved bride had a touch of the wind? Now the poor girl is just a **“bride”** over troubled waters. Maybe marrying her was just a bride too far, and now their whole plans are going to be a bride to nowhere. I do hope they can cross over this difficulty and not harbour any grudges.

(I could have gone on with puns all day, but I decided to just do the abridged version.”

**WH:** Just another weak excuse to strut your stuff! Simply no over-arching concern for the poor copywriter. Time your puns were pier reviewed.

**Wibble**: I won’t be trussed up like that, I have seen many such attempts in my life span, there would have to be a lot more water under the bridge before I would fall for that.

**WH**: This is ramping up. There are no barriers to the shear pleasure one can obtain from a good pun abutment campaign.

**Buzz**: The problem with Wibble is that he cantilever a pun out of a story. And don’t try and take him on because pun wharfare is his strength.
