Our most recent [article](https://nzdsos.com/2022/09/13/world-health-assembly-pandemic-treaty/?ref=goodoil.news) detailed the proposed amendments to IHR (2005) that were advanced for consideration by the Biden administration at the 75th World Health Assembly in May 2022\. While the amendments proposed by the Biden administration were set aside, the WHO established a Working Group for amendments to the International Health Regulations (WGIHR). The 194 member states were directed to submit proposed amendments to IHR (2005) by the 30th of September 2022\. In October 2022 the WHO appointed 18 members to the International Health Regulations Review Committee (IHRRC) to [administer the negotiations](https://jamesroguski.substack.com/p/the-peoples-amendments-to-the-international) in a private closed-door setting, with the exclusion of submissions or comment from the general public. The WHO quietly made their 46-page [draft document available](https://zeeemedia.com/interview/uncensored-red-alert-who-has-written-a-removal-of-human-dignity-rights-freedom-james-roguski/?ref=goodoil.news) online on the 18th of December last year. The International Health Regulations Review committee is meeting ***this week*** to work on their proposed amendments to IHR (2005). The draft is expected to be completed by Sunday the 15th of January. The aim ostensibly is to have it finalised in time for the 76th World Health Assembly in May this year. The draft proposal contains some alarming changes, which carry significant implications for the relative station of human rights within the body of international law. The [proposed changes](https://apps.who.int/gb/wgihr/pdf%5Ffiles/wgihr1/WGIHR%5FCompilation-en.pdf?ref=goodoil.news) to Article 3 include the removal of the stipulation that “the implementation of these regulations shall be with full respect for the dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms of persons”. The WHO have always claimed to be working towards implementation of the proposed changes to IHR (2005) by 2024\. However, if a completed working draft is ready, the WHO are positioned for expedited implementation, should they deem it necessary. In shaping our approach, we should exercise vigilance and take a precautionary perspective, as the WHO may move to advance their timeline. We should be wary for the potential for implementation of the proposed amendments at the 76th World Health Assembly in May. #### What We Can Do Deciding that we want a “self-organising life”, a life of joy, purpose and health, will help to clarify our actions. Doing nothing will lead us down the road of misery. If we want a “self-organising life”, we need to take a stand, resist and let the world know that we will not comply. It seems overwhelming but so did the fight against big tobacco and industrial chemicals (think DDT). There are so many concerns and “causes” today that it can all get too much – access to energy, food and non-contaminated water, high cost of living, a failing medical system… These concerns will pale into insignificance if the amendments to the World Health Organisation (WHO) International Health Regulation (IHR) (2005) become binding. These amendments are being discussed ***now***, with the aim of producing a final draft by Sunday the 15th of January 2023. #### We Need Your Help We are a small team with much to do.
