A copy of the following letter was forwarded to Michael Bassett. Deputy PM, Winston Peters has also [tweeted](https://x.com/winstonpeters/status/1868860313577169274?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet&ref=goodoil.news) a copy of the letter saying:

> It seems the Māori Party have sent this letter to all companies who have applied for fast track consideration.

> If true, they have shown what extremist economic morons they are and how little they value the future of our country.

> They have threatened these private companies with economic sabotage and condemning New Zealand to a bankrupt future – all because of their delusional and separatist views.  
>  
> This is a party who wants to be in cabinet deciding your future.
