These people are absolutely convinced of what think they know. This should surprise no one really, given whom they’re so passionate about supporting: the knuckle-dragging detritus of the Middle-East. A people so troublesome that not even their fellow Arab countries will let them set a single toe across their fiercely guarded borders. But why are the Palestinians like that? It’s not just the notoriously low IQs, themselves a by-product of generational in-breeding in an enclave where around one-third of marriages are between first cousins. That’s in itself a troublesome recipe. But add to that, largely thanks to the unconscionable machinations of the UN and its Hamas offspring, they’ve been stewed in a generational echo-chamber of hatred and ignorance. Not just the ludicrousness of classing three or four generations who’ve lived in the same places for nearly a century as eternal ‘refugees’, but what passes for ‘education’, funded by the UNRWA. Their schoolbooks don’t merely educate impressionable children in the finer points of koranically sanctioned Jew-killing, they fill the limited space in Palestinian heads with the most outrageous lies. An X user recently delved into the bizarro alternate-universe that is the Palestinian Authority’s official school textbooks for grades six through nine. Prepare to have your mind boggled by the most ludicrous fairy-tales since you were told ‘Māori discovered Antarctica’ and ‘Aborigines invented democracy’. To fabricate an unbroken four-millennia deed to the Levant, the Ramallah ink-slingers have magically retconned ancient history so that every civilisation that ever lifted a brick in the Fertile Crescent was actually an Arab tribe. The Akkadians, Assyrians, Amorites and Canaanites? All Arabs, apparently, who supposedly trotted out of the desert sands thousands of years before the first historical mention of an ‘Arab’ ever appeared on an Assyrian stele in 853 BC. DNA evidence proving local Levantine roots? Flushed down the memory hole. Naturally, the true indigenous inhabitants of the land, the Jews, are systematically scrubbed from the record. > In reality: Between the Pharaohs and the Assyrians, for roughly 400 years, the land was ruled by the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. With a wave of a UN-funded wand, centuries of archaeological stone inscriptions, **King David**’s dynastic house and the biblical monarchy vanish into thin air. Even the Hebrew place names they cannot avoid mentioning are clumsily re-labelled ‘Canaanite’ heritage stolen by the dastardly Zionists. Shechem becomes an ‘Arab’ prize, while the Roman-founded Nablus is held up as ancient pedigree. Then comes the agricultural time-travel. According to these taxpayer-subsidised comic books, seventh-century caliphs were apparently feasting on spuds and tomatoes in the Levant. A miracle of horticultural precocity, given that nightshades were exclusive to the Americas until eight centuries later. Scientific history gets a similar paint job. Indian mathematician **Brahmagupta**’s formulation of zero in 628 AD is effortlessly purloined, while famous Persian minds like **Ibn Sina** and the Central Asian mathematician **al-Khwarizmi** are forcibly naturalised into the Arab pantheon. Geography fares no better in this UN-sponsored Mad Hatter’s tea party. Grade seven students are informed that Andalusian sailors casually discovered South America in the ninth century, citing phantom Arabic inscriptions in Brazil. Back on earth, the Spanish discovery of the Caribbean is hilariously muddled: students are taught Spain discovered ‘the Canary Islands (San Salvador)’, blithely conflating an Atlantic archipelago off Morocco with an island in the Bahamas some 6,000 kilometres away. When the textbooks finally lumber into the 20th century, World War II is miraculously taught without mentioning **Adolf Hitler**, the National Socialists or the Holocaust: probably to avoid having to mention that the Arabs of Palestine gleefully allied with Hitler and greeted his closest Arab collaborator, the Grand Mufti of Palestine, as a conquering hero after the war. It gets worse. In the imaginary post-war world of the PA, the fabrications curdle into murderous hagiography. Bloodthirsty thugs who slaughtered Jewish women and infants during the 1929 Hebron pogrom are immortalised as noble ‘revolutionaries’ executed by colonial oppressors. Probably because telling the truth might lead to the uncomfortable admission that those Arabs who fled during the so-called ‘Nakba’ did so largely because they were terrified the Israelis would do to them what they’d been doing to Jews for generations. The 1948 war of survival is rewritten to claim perfidious Albion handed the country to the Zionists: conveniently forgetting that British officers actively led the Jordanian Arab Legion against Israel. This is the rank garbage pumped into young skulls courtesy of Western aid cheques.
