Yesterday’s photo is the view from the Central Park Carousel in New York City.

The carousel is 115 years old and has been substantially repaired and restored by the Trump Organization, which had been selected to manage the Central Park Carousel in 2010.

On January 13, 2021, however, New York City mayor, Bill de Blasio, announced that the City would be severing all contracts with the Trump Organization immediately, due to Trump’s alleged involvement in the storming of the United States Capitol. The carousel was closed from February 2021 until October 2021 when a new operator took over.
