# Wellington City Council: A Woke Swamp of Cowards

The Wellington City Council is commonly called the WCC. I can now confirm that it really stands for Woke Cultural Communists and simultaneously Woke Cowardly Communists. The reason for this is an outright attack on and bullying of a Wellington City Councillor called **Sean Rush** by woke cancel culture communist thugs living under their grotty rocks in the Wellington community.

Rush had the temerity to turn his back while a seven-strong group of simpering trendy lefty female Councillors, namely Tamatha Paul, Teri O’Neill, Jenny Condie, Laurie Foon, Fleur Fitzsimons, and Rebecca Matthews, sang a waiata after a woke racist proposition to sneakily get iwi on Council committees.

During the Council meeting as stated by the *DomPost*;

> “Rush took the action as seven councillors sang a short waiata after a move from councillor Jill Day to request a vote on establishing iwi seats on council committees”.

> *\[…\]* “Rush took objection to the move because it fell outside the scope of Wednesday’s council paper, which was to review the electoral voting system for the next two elections”.

According to *The NZ Herald*;

> “Rush turned to face the window and crossed his arms, later telling the Herald he felt ambushed and excluded from behind-the-scenes discussions the night before”.

This ‘horrifying’ society destroying action by Rush led to woke lefty outrage in a minority of fringe dwelling freaks and bitter lefties in the community. One of them, **Roxy Coervers** started an online petition to bully the Council into censuring Rush. This was presented to the WCC and the Mayor who had initially brushed off complaints as dealt with by Rush.

The petition is here verbatim with my highlights of two sections.

*Tena koutou,*

*On the 26th August Wellington City Councillor Sean Rush (Motukairangai / Eastern ward representative) attended a WCC meeting and turned his back on a group of fellow councillors performing waiata in support of the establishment of iwi seats on the Wellington City Council.*

*This behaviour is rude, problematic, inappropriate and disrespectful and is not indicative of how local residents wish to be represented in their local government, nor is it the manner in which an elected councillor should behave when presented with issues that directly affect local iwi.*

*The Wellington City Council code of conduct is published on their website and states:*

*• Elected members should remember the respect and dignity of their office in their dealings with each other, management and the public.*

*• Members should treat people with respect, regardless of their race, age,*

*religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, and should not unlawfully*

*discriminate against any person or group of persons.*

*Cr Sean Rush’s actions are a direct breach of this code of conduct, and are unacceptable to the constituents that he serves.*

***This petition calls for Councillor Rush to attend diversity and sensitivity training*** *surrounding Te Tiriti, the manner in which local govt representatives must work to uphold the tenets of Te Tiriti and ways to further support and uplift mana whenua, as well as issue a public apology.*

***If the above actions are not undertaken*** *in an appropriate and timely manner, or if Cr Rush is unable to fulfil his obligations to local voters, *we will be calling for his resignation*.*

A quick online search on Coervers reveals the predictable outlier type, with a hairstyle partially shaved in strange places with odd colours and conforms to her being a typically overly tattooed fringe dweller who boasts of “being a freak show”. She purports to run a photography business.

The petition attracted the usual woke, grimy, lefty cancel culture, thug suspects with reasons for signing including the usual brainless lefty put down clichés of “pale, stale, male” racist, sexist tripe and other mouth-foaming bitterness too long to be included in this guest post.

The galling thing is that this petition attracted just over 2500 lefty ravers out of a population of 400,000 and yet the effete, gutless WCC and the Mayor caved in, likely aided and abetted by the now majority of green communist Councillor wokes. **Rush now has been bullied into undergoing ‘voluntary’ Treaty training/brainwashing and was forced to apologise.** It appears the WCC now channels North Korea short of torture and execution.

It is astounding that this increasingly ineffective and directionless Council that charges very high rates for little return has the gall to waste ratepayer money on sing-alongs, woke nonsense and sneaking Maori activist interests onto the Council committees and agendas. They bullied a Councillor who did nothing wrong but who stood up for his individual right to not buy into or indulge in a Council enforced cultural dictatorship.
