Along with Conquest, War, Famine, and Death, they need to add Middle-Class Left-Wing White Woman, riding a pink EV. They swooned as millions of Muslim and African rapists flood the West. They voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. They tilted their heads and simpered for predatory, cross-dressing paedophiles. They posted swathes of videos threatening to poison their husbands for voting for Donald Trump. Now, they’ve gone one further than proudly bragging about murdering their unborn children: celebrating the cause of a woman who brutally murdered her own children. Perhaps they see it as ‘post-birth abortion’ by other means. Whatever caused it, it’s increasingly clear that these women have lost their tiny minds. On January 24, 2023, 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy, a former labour and delivery nurse, sent her husband Patrick to pick up takeout food and go to the pharmacy. Then, she strangled her three young children – five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson and eight-month-old Callan – with rubber exercise bands, slashed her own wrists and neck and threw herself out of a second-story window. Patrick returned to find two of his children dead in the basement and his wife bleeding outside. Callan died in the hospital three days later. Lindsay Clancy was charged with the first-degree murders of her three children, and her trial began last month in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Clancy is now divorced, paralyzed from the waist down due to her suicide attempt – and the subject of an outpouring of support that feels vaguely reminiscent of the cult following surrounding Charles Manson. Who were also, it might be noted, solidly middle-class left-wing women, only much younger than the blue-haired harpies swooning for a multiple child-killer. Nearly a million dollars has poured into her GoFundMe. Crowds gather outside the courthouse. TikTok is awash with videos of women cradling their own babies and sobbing “Same, Lindsay.” The prosecution says she acted intentionally, rationally and with planning, researching the method and ensuring her husband was out of the house. The defence blames a cocktail of psychiatric drugs and postpartum despair. Neither version turns the corpses of three small children into a feminist cause célèbre. Remember Arthur Freeman? In a clear mental episode he threw his five-year-old daughter off Melbourne’s Westgate Bridge. No one called him a victim of the patriarchy or the pharmaceutical industry. Rightly so. Greg Anderson had a long history of mental struggles when he murdered his son Luke Batty at a kids’ cricket match. Again, zero sympathy, and correctly. Men who kill their children are monsters. Women who do the same? Suddenly the narrative flips to trauma, meds, and ‘society failed her’. Yet here we are. Carefully filmed, edited and posted meltdowns of women shrieking and smashing things are offered as proof of uncontrollable psychosis. The same women who demand the world treat every male offender as fully responsible now insist female violence is always the system’s fault. The internet, as one observer noted, is simply making men and women hate each other more efficiently. Postpartum depression is real and too often poorly handled. But equating ‘I feel overwhelmed’ with the deliberate strangulation of three children is not solidarity: it’s a public confession of instability. When mothers film themselves declaring kinship with a child-killer while holding their own infants, they invite the most misogynist conclusions imaginable – and then act shocked when those conclusions arrive. Commentator Peachy Keenan cut to the heart of it. Women have never had it better: majority of college graduates, majority of jobs in many fields, higher earnings trajectories in key sectors, longer lives, lower suicide and addiction rates, control of fertility, no-fault divorce, near-automatic custody and no draft. They abolished male-only spaces, rewrote the Boy Scouts, and declared every bathroom a free-for-all. ‘We are all living in the female future they promised.’ The result appears to be a rolling tantrum against the very world they demanded. Lindsay Clancy killed her babies. The women posting ‘Same, Lindsay’ are not victims of a cruel system. They are the logical end-product of a culture that treats female rage as sacred and male accountability as the only moral absolute left.
