Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Creedence Clearwater Revival on the 1970 album “Cosmo’s Factory”.

Slade on their 1977 single “My Baby Left Me/That’s All Right”.

Alvin Lee on his 2013 album “The Last Show”.
