Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight” is a song written by Bod Dylan and first released on his 1967 album “John Wesley Harding”.

It has been covered by several acts including:

Linda Ronstadt on her 1969 album “Hand Sown…..Hand Grown”.

The Hollies on their 1969 album “Hollies Sing Dylan”.

Rita Coolidge on her 1972 album “The Lady’s Not For Sale”.

Graham Bonnet on his 1978 album “No Bad Habits”.

Robert Palmer on his 1990 album “Don’t Explain”.

Ian Gillan on his 2006 album “Gillan’s Inn”
