Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“Baby What You Want Me To Do” is a song written by Jimmy Reed and first released by him as a 1959 single.

It has been covered by many acts including:

Billy Fury as the B-Side to his 1964 single “Its Only Make Believe”.

Little Richard on his 1965 album “The Wild and Frantic Little Richard”.

Them on their 1967 EP “Friday’s Child”.

Lonnie Mack on his 1969 album “Whatever’s Right”.

Wishbone Ash on their 1973 live album “Live Dates”.

The Moody Marsden Band on the 1994 compilation album “The Time Is Right For Live”.
