Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

“Devil Woman” is a song written by Terry Britten and Kristen Sparkle. It was first released by Cliff Richard as a 1976 single.

It has been covered by several acts including:

The Wild Cats on their 1976 album “Disco Cats”.

Riot on their 1983 album “Born in America”.

All About Eve as the B-side to their 1986 single “Flowers in Our Hair”.

Cradle of Filth on their 2005 album “Nymphetamine”.
