Being a BFD subscriber now has an **added perk** because as we sought to increase website speed we had a few choices to make. One of which was to decide who sees cached pages and who doesn’t.

Our caching system allows for logged in users (ie paid members) to **bypass** the cache and go straight through to the site unimpeded by the software. That is why there is a delay for non-members in seeing the posts.

Given that 94% of the site’s revenue comes from paid members and only 6% of our revenue comes from advertising we wanted to reward our valued paying customers with **direct access** to the site.

To those of you who are already subscribers thank you very much for your financial support. It is enabling us to work on a complete website re-design which we will be launching in a month or so when it is complete.

It will make the site even faster and also a lot easier to use. **The look will be simpler and cleaner.** Only those who are not subscribers will have to deal with the messy look of ads all over the place.
