Election year has already started and The BFD is primed for action. Reader [subscriptions](https://thebfd.co.nz/subscription-plans/?ref=goodoil.news) are what keeps the lights on at BFD HQ and we need your support to continue to grow and to move forward to Phase Two of our plan.

Currently, we have enough subscriptions to keep the lights on but not enough yet to move to phase two. We have had to spend a lot more on security for the website than anticipated and have also had to [purchase more Ram](https://thebfd.co.nz/2020/01/due-to-heavy-traffic-we-have-purchased-more-ram-help-us-pay-for-it/?ref=goodoil.news) to prevent the site from crashing when we experienced much [higher than usual reader activity](https://thebfd.co.nz/2020/01/welcome-to-the-bfd/?ref=goodoil.news) in response to [our most popular article](https://thebfd.co.nz/2020/01/breaking-the-raids-have-begun-all-for-a-22-bunny-gun/?ref=goodoil.news) so far that has had **93,785** views and counting.
