We in the National Party believe building a strong economy means our young people have the opportunity to get ahead under their own steam, without having to head overseas.

As Leader of the Opposition, one of my priorities is finding out how we can attract investment, grow jobs and support businesses so we can have a New Zealand where our kids don’t need to look elsewhere for opportunities.

I’ve been getting out and about spending the day with businesses like Mainstream to see how they operate and what we can do to support them to get ahead.
