A NZ Herald Beat-up

Last Sunday’s NZ Herald ran a lengthy article ripping into the Korean Christian outfit Shincheonji which has opened in New Zealand.

I read the article twice and frankly it sounded fairly benign compared with say the Catholics.

Precisely why The Herald called it a cult with the derisory inference of that word, was not justified by the article.

Along with warfare, as I’ve frequently asserted, religion is one of the two great failures of human history.

This article was a disgraceful beat-up. That said, unless something changes soon, it will all be academic as Korea will cease to exist. That’s because Korea has the lowest birthrate in the world.

I checked our schedules and sure enough, the Korean embassy is a lessee in one of my company’s buildings.

So being public spirited I’ll go and see the ambassador and offer my services to correct this problem, after all, watch the LPGA as Koreans dominate women’s golf and they’re all stunning beauty queens.
