Recent polling shows New Zealand First rising sharply – now at 9.3 per cent. When you look past the percentages and do the maths, that’s the backing of nearly a quarter of a million real voters. Roughly 247,000 New Zealanders – not fringe radicals, but everyday citizens – who have had enough.
They will not be voting out of habit or nostalgia. They’re voting for national dignity, for leadership with backbone and a return to common sense. The political class and their dead wood supporters may laugh or sneer – but they’re rattled. And they should be.
Because this time, we New Zealanders aren’t just watching. We are wide awake – and we are ready to take our country back.
