If you average across both the National party are on 40.5

Either way, they still can’t win if just the 1News poll is taken into account
unless they cut a deal with….wait for it….NZ First AKA Winston Peters.

Simon Bridges will, of course, want to cling to the 1News Colmar Brunton poll but that still doesn’t get him into government. Simon Bridges is increasingly looking like our version of Bill Shorten.
