ABC Luvvies Just Can’t Admit It

Trump derangement and anti-Semitism are an ugly mix at the Ultimo Collective.

The ABC isn’t happy that peace has arrived. The Good Oil. Photoshop by Lushington Brady.

Never underestimate the sheer, bilious hatred of Australia’s national broadcaster taxpayer-funded, far-left propaganda network. Especially when it comes to Jews and Donald Trump. When it’s both, their vicious bigotry goes off the rails.

Israelis and Arab nations are feting the US president for brokering the peace deal in Gaza. He received a hero’s welcome in both Tel Aviv and Sharm el-Sheikh. World leaders dropped everything to rush to Egypt to join in the chorus of acclaim.

Not the ABC.

Instead, the taxpayer-funded far lefties of Ultimo are grumbling into their soy lattes. Everyone else has got it wrong but them.

But why should anyone be thanking the president?

Instead, they should be asking: Why are the remaining hostages only coming home now, when there was a ceasefire he helped broker at the start of the year that saw dozens of hostages released?

Because Hamas refused to let them go, you absolute lefty spoon.

But this is the ABC – so, naturally, they blame Israel.

Instead of discussing the end of the war and the release of the remaining hostages in Gaza, Israel proceeded to break that deal in March, blocked aid and launched devastating new offensives in Gaza, promising “total victory” against Hamas.

This is yet another absolute lie from the ABC. In fact, the ceasefire expired, without Hamas living up to its promises, especially on the further release of hostages, and a resumption of negotiations. That ceasefire expired on 2 March, with Hamas refusing to release more hostages or participate in further negotiations. Israel only resumed airstrikes more than a fortnight later, on 18 March.

But facts, especially about Israel, are kryptonite to the ABC. If only it were a matter of yet more lies from the taxpayer-funded broadcaster (which still hasn’t apologised for, or retracted, its utterly false four-part ‘Russiagate’ report). But the ABC’s misinformation has dire consequences.

As journalist Avi Yemini confronted the ABC’s Matthew Doran with in Hostage Square, Tel Aviv, his and the ABC’s fake news has contributed in no small part to the spike in violent anti-Semitism in Australia.

They’re still at it, as we see.

If Mr Trump does manage to actually stop this war, deploy a multinational security force, reconstruct Gaza, resolve Palestinian statehood and secure a lasting regional agreement, then it will be time to say thank you.

Don’t bet on it. Not from the ABC. They’ll still be screeching Orange Man Bad! and Jews bad! at the top of their shrill little lungs.

It’s everyone else who’s wrong, you see.

“Thank you,” said giant letters etched in the beach in Tel Aviv, intended to be seen by US President Donald Trump as he flew into Israel this week.

“Thank you President Trump,” chanted Israelis gathered in hostage square.

“Thank you President Trump,” said the families of the hostages and the Israeli government.

Huh, what would a bunch of Joos know? Clearly the useless troughers of Ultimo know better.

Hell, even Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert are giving credit where it’s due.

Late night talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, often critics of President Trump, praised the president over the recent Gaza peace deal this week.

“There is some good news out there, because today, thanks to Trump’s newly brokered ceasefire in Gaza, all living Israeli hostages and almost 2,000 Palestinian prisoners have been released,” Colbert said Monday on CBS’s “The Late Show.”

“Okay, it’s important, credit where credit is due, Donald Trump did something good” […]

“The fact is, the bombing has stopped, the hostages have been released, and Trump deserves some of the praise for that. And so, I know it sounds crazy to say, but good work on that one, President Trump,” Kimmel said on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The ABC is not just an embarrassment any more: it’s an active hate organisation. All on our dime.

The time to defund it is long, long past.
