Jewish shops smashed and looted. Synagogues and schools attacked. A statue of an Honorary American Citizen who saved thousands of Jews during the holocaust defaced with anti-Semitic slogans.
This has to be the work of the far-right, yes?
No.
This mini-Kristallnacht was the work of the supposedly “anti-Fascist” left.
In the British daily, Telegraph, Zoe Strimpel wrote “[…]Some of these do it in the name of anti-racism – as seen above – and some in the name of anti-fascism. The ring-leaders of the anti-fascists are the loathsome group, Antifa […] where there’s Antifa there is antisemitism.”
Even in Melbourne, when the local Jewish community organised a pro-Israel rally, Antifa quickly organised a “counter-protest”. A hijab-clad woman on TikTok joined in, playing the ISIS anthem while urging jihadis to also “counter-protest”: “you know what to do”.
But it’s not just Antifa: The default ideological movement of the left is also openly anti-Semitic.
The American Black Lives Matter movement[…]manifesto accuses Israel of perpetrating genocide against Palestinians, labels Israel as an ‘apartheid state’ and joined with the BDS movement in calling for the total academic, cultural and economic boycott of the country. No such demands are made for any other state.
The BDS movement is de rigeur for the left. It’s also thoroughly anti-Semitic. Mainstream left-wing politicians, including Labour in both the UK and New Zealand are openly associated with anti-Semitic movements like BDS. That includes being members of social media pages which proliferate racist and anti-Semitic content without condemnation.
One might expect mainstream Jewish organisations to say something about the violent anti-Semitism of the left. Think again. Supposedly Jewish organisations are gutlessly prostrating themselves at the BLM altar – despite the fact that black Americans are the most anti-Semitic group in America.
Black Americans are four times as likely as whites to be anti-Semitic. Even educated blacks with a college degree are shockingly anti-Semitic: twice as much as all whites combined.
Melanie Phillips pointed out the strange attitude of many Jewish organizations. She wrote that in a statement by the Jewish Council of Public Affairs, 130 organizations said that they were “outraged by the killing of Floyd, declared ‘solidarity’ with the Black community and called for ‘an end’ to ‘systemic racism.'” Phillips remarked: “They make no protest against the specifically targeted attacks on synagogues and Jewish businesses.” Phillips called Black Lives Matter, an “anti-white, anti-capitalist and anti-Jewish hate group.”
In a blog posted by the Zionist Organization of America, Daniel Greenfield also addressed the attitude of the Jewish organizations writing: “One would think that the hateful vandalism of 8 Jewish institutions and a mob screaming slurs after trashing Jewish businesses would lead to some sort of meaningful response. But, that would be the optimistic perspective of people who haven’t experienced the unmitigated level of cowardice and appeasement that comprises Jewish institutional life at virtually every level.
The Democratic Socialists of America and the Guardian have all published defamatory anti-Semitic material blaming Israel, somehow, for supposed police violence against blacks in America.
Adam Levick of Camera reacted: “[The Guardian’s Oliver Holmes] goes further than merely noting the two incidents, by advancing narratives common amongst anti-Zionists and antisemites suggesting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one between racist ‘whites’ (Israelis) and oppressed ‘people of color.’”[…]
In 2016, university professor, anti-Israel inciter, and militant American black activist, Angela Davis, used the killing of Michael Brown for the same purpose.
Israel National News
Wherever the left go today, there is anti-Semitism. “Pro-Palestinian” demonstrations in Los Angeles featured carloads of thugs hunting down and lynching Jews. Leading Democrats spout anti-Semitic bile and ally themselves with notorious black anti-Semites like Lewis Farrakhan. CNN journalists praise Hitler.
Yet, mainstream Jewish organisations persist in whipping up hysteria about fringe anti-Semitic elements on the right, while promoting violently anti-Semitic leftist movements.
