I suspect those of us who were proud to be New Zealanders no longer feel the same pride in our country. The majority of us who never sensed the difference in our family members or workmates being Maori or Non-Maori feel particularly aggrieved with the path a few greedy, disgruntled swamp dwelling activists led by that evil duo, Willy Jackson and Prime Minister Ardern are taking us down.
For a man of his age his workload is immense and his stamina is at least on a par with his ego. Yet, the media paint him as a bad man at every opportunity.
He said he wasn’t going to play O’Brien’s game, but he did. Rather than feebly protesting at her question, he should have gone on the front foot and challenged her attempt to reduce cabinet appointments to a matter of identity politics.
