As a loyal foot soldier of CNN, the NZ Herald continues to print unresearched nonsense about the Trump family who continue to live rent-free in the NZ Herald editor’s head. How much more of this garbage dressed up as fact should we tolerate? Now, apparently, both Ivanka and Trump should be shaking in their shoes after the FBI raid on Rudy Giuliani’s apartment.
This is all very predicable stuff and they will come up with nothing. The Department of ‘Injustice’ ordered it, and of course Biden knew about it. They must get Trump out of action as he is the Democrats’ greatest threat.
The Herald persists with its fictional coverage, despite this week other left wing US media outlets like NY Times and Washington Post calling CNN out on their lies about Rudy Giuliani, whom DOJ are still after. This despite both major enquiries during Trump’s term costing Americans tens of millions of dollars proving to be a hoax set up by the Dems and their media mates.
CNN have printed redactions and apologies, yet still the ‘Horrid’ (humorously named by the late Paul Holmes) continues with their creative story telling.
Where are the shock horror stories about criminal behaviour by Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York State, with sexual allegations coming out of his ears, who is hanging onto his job by the skin of his teeth?
And Hunter Biden, whose hard drives were in Giuliani’s apartment during the dawn raid, but which the FBI refused to take with them!!
The FBI are selective as to which offending they will look into. If this had been Trump’s son, the headlines would be reverberating around the world and he would be incarcerated. Nothing in our media about Hunter. That is real salacious news and is not fake!
The Biden laptop contains screeds of incriminating images which have been all over the internet but have been ignored by US law enforcement. It shows married man Hunter in various stages of undress with a range of females, doing a range of things with a range of substances, any one of which could land Joe Bloggs without a famous Democrat father in jail for a very long time.
I have not seen in the NZ Herald much reporting of Cuomo’s criminal failure as a Governor to protect the elderly when he sent thousands of Covid infected elderly by official order back to their rest homes, which caused thousands of deaths. This is deeply concerning and REAL NEWS.
What happened to ‘journalistic ethics’ and always checking your sources? Now there’s a thought. Unnamed ‘Sources’ are CNN’s main reference. That should be a clue.
At least there is a timely response in the US from conservative media like Fox News, Washington Examiner, Washington Times, National Review, and The Federalist to provide some balance. I notice they also call out Trump when it is warranted.
In New Zealand, we have very little balance and with a conservative party in opposition and a media cheering for an incompetent socialist government, I fear for the opposition getting any reasoned argument out there this term and being taken seriously.
A recent speech by Judith Collins, including concerns about proposed covert government policy, was greeted with cries of ‘racist’, ‘hit the red-hot racist button’, ‘desperate’ by government MPs and media alike, many of whom hadn’t even read it.
Crying ‘racist’ before you have even read a document isn’t best practice and is actually childish. This shows insecurity from so-called journalists who feel threatened by intrepid Judith Collins and Shane Reti, a brilliant communicator whose reasoned arguments flummoxed Nathan Rarere on RNZ.
The PM is also using the ‘politicking’ and ‘racist’ cards, praying that her Media party with their similar rhetoric will shame National into silence.
It is not going to happen.
They are addressing head-on the subject of Maori separatism which the government is dead set on implementing by stealth. This affects our future and should be an open debate for all New Zealanders and possibly the subject of a referendum.
With the well-hidden He Puapua document forced to the surface, this will be a debate for the ages, and (my prediction) will underpin the outcome of the next election and the shape of New Zealand to come.
