In a move that’s set the Ukaboo left, the Euro-elite and the Masters of War shrieking and fainting, Donald Trump has dared say the un-sayable truth about the Ukrainian president.
Donald Trump has launched an extraordinary attack on Volodymyr Zelensky as a “dictator without elections”, saying the Ukrainian leader had done a “terrible job” and suggesting he was more interested in receiving billions of dollars in assistance than ending the war.
Well, if the jackboot fits...
After all, how else would you describe a leader who suspends elections, jails opposition parties, bans critical media and even shuts down churches that criticise his regime? Not to mention sending ‘conscription patrols’ to snatch people from buses and trains, even refugee queues, to fight a war they have no hope of winning.
As for the special pleading that Zelensky was ‘democratically elected’, leaving aside the questionable democracy of Ukraine, it’s worth pointing out that dictator Benito Mussolini was democratically elected in a landslide. Then there’s the irony of the same people who routinely call democratically elected Donald Trump ‘literally Hitler’ trying to defend Zelensky.
There’s also the spurious argument that elections couldn’t be held during a war. Australia, New Zealand and the USA all held elections right through the darkest days of WWII, without undermining their war efforts.
Then there’s the questions of where the hundreds of billions in foreign aid have gone in a nation not so long ago acknowledged as the most corrupt in Europe.
Posting on his Truth Social platform, Mr Trump said he was successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia and accused Mr Zelensky of trying to keep the “gravy train” going while misusing billions in assistance provided by America.
“Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelensky, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle,” Mr Trump said […]
Mr Trump said that he was committed to “successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going.”
“I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died,” Mr Trump said. “And so it continues.”
Naturally, the fellow grifters of Europe were quick to clutch their pearls.
European leaders immediately defended Mr Zelensky, with French President Emmanuel Macron saying Russia posed an “existential threat” to Europe.
In a word: bollocks. If anything, the reverse is true. While Putin ultimately wears the blame for invading Ukraine, it cannot be denied that the EU, with US backing, recklessly crossed red line after red line in its eastward expansion into former Soviet territory. Rightly or wrongly, Russians have long memories of being repeatedly invaded from the West over the past 500 years, often by those who professed to be their friends and allies. Poking the bear is a dangerous game.
The argument that Trump shouldn’t meet with Putin ahead of Ukraine is also nonsense. Who else can you make peace with but your enemy? The only way to end the war is to convince Vladimir Putin it’s in his interests to do so.
The EU establishment and the Swamp Monsters will fight tooth and nail to keep a lucrative Forever War rolling along.
Professor of International Affairs at Georgetown University and Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, Charles Kupchan, told The Australian the call by Mr Trump for elections in Ukraine “simply doesn’t make any sense” […]
Professor Kupchan […] served from 2014 to 2017 as the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European Affairs on the National Security Council in the Obama White House.
And look how well that turned out. It was Barack Obama who kicked off the dire trend of Putin only ever invading other countries when the Democrats were in power. Given the mess these clowns made before, why would anyone listen to them now?
Speaking at a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida after the Riyadh talks had wrapped up, Mr Trump said he was focused on striking a deal to save “millions of lives” and that he would “probably” meet Putin next week.
“I think I have the power to end this war.”
And that’s just what the Masters of War are afraid of.
