The one constant in the year and more of the Wuhan plague is: China lied. It’s still lying.
Whatever China is hiding about the origins of the Wuhan plague, it has and is doing everything within its power to cover it up. From the very beginning, doctors and scientists were silenced, arrested and disappeared. Vital scientific samples, whether from the Wuhan wet market in close proximity to a bio-weapons lab, or from an abandoned copper mine in Yunan, were confiscated and destroyed.
Above all else, China is absolutely determined to keep foreign investigators out. Even from its subservient puppet, the WHO.
The World Health Organisation says China is refusing access to Wuhan to officials investigating the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
Australia led calls for the inquiry which was eventually backed by a global coalition of 137 countries, including China, at a meeting of the World Health Assembly in May.
China only grudgingly agreed to the investigation as a face-saving move. But it’s making damn sure to stick to the old political maxim of never agreeing to an inquiry unless it is sure of the outcome.
World Health Organisation Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said two members of the investigative team had already left their home countries for Wuhan, as agreed in advance with China, when it became clear that Beijing had not issued the necessary permission for the team to enter the country.
Toothless tiger that it is, the WHO is putting on a vague show of indignation while not actually doing a damn thing.
Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he had been “assured that China is speeding up the internal procedures for the earliest possible deployment”.
But in later questioning, it was not clear when they would be permitted entry.
China is both playing the WHO for the grovelling fools it knows they are, and playing for time. Second only to its determination to win its diplomatic and trade war against Australia, China is banking on a supine Biden administration in the White House.
The Trump administration withdrew from the WHO claiming the organisation had been corrupted by China. Incoming president Joe Biden is poised to get the US to rejoin after his inauguration.
The Age
Of course, he is. As the damning material from his son, Hunter Biden’s, laptop shows, the Biden family is as deep in the pockets of the Chinese communists as a foreign tourist in a Chinese prostitute. Not least the otherwise unnamed “big guy” of the Biden cartel.
So, don’t expect anything approximating the truth about the China virus any time soon. At least, not from official sources.
