As the media have collaborated to bombard the populace with environmental and climate doom propaganda, it is only fair and reasonable to hold their feet to the fire (as it were) and examine past media promoted predictions that have failed to materialise.
Here is a list that has been circulating on Social Media. It is a graphic so you can easily copy and paste it into your own Facebook, Instagram or whatever feeds.
There are over 40 fails in the list and no one has yet given us a successful prediction. Surely the doom-mongers should get one run on the board before we start taking them seriously.
The ‘experts’ are now telling us that, due to evil CO2, we have been warming since the beginning of the industrial age and that we must return to those temperatures, or at least keep within 2°C of that utopian benchmark.
The observant ones among you may well ask why they were predicting an ice-age back in the 70s if the current ‘truth’ is that we have been warming since the industrial era began. It is a curious conundrum.
