Today’s Comment of the Week is from Suze. Thank you Suze.
Does it really matter if Luxon is rolled or not? The National Party needs to change and replacing their leader won’t do that.
NZ will womble on until a political party led by someone with the wherewithal to effect change steps up. If they ever do.
Vocal Māori extremists and fringe elements, which are home to the mentally disturbed, are actually supported by weak politicians.
Truly patriotic politicians wouldn’t attend Pride Parades, keep throwing money at petulant Māori activists, finance loony academics who lie about history and encourage dissent, let jihadists into NZ mosques to preach antisemitism and allow farming, mining and local industries to disintegrate simply because no one cares.
It’s not rocket science we need: it’s honesty about the state of NZ and the state of our current motley bunch of politicians. We need politicians of a much higher calibre, people of principle and moral fibre who wouldn’t touch the current National Party with a 10-foot barge pole.
Politicians aren’t doing their jobs properly and will keep doing so as long as we keep letting them off the hook.
