Last week in Hokitika we parked up at the river mouth car park (Gibson Quay) but couldn’t figure out why the parking angles are opposite to what they should be (see photo). The angles make it very hard to park and get out again.
Either it’s a stuff up or a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel (quote from Blackadder).
Maybe a Hokitika local can enlighten us.
