Our world will never be the same again. We have survived world wars, international conflicts, plagues, pestilence, natural disaster including climate change: Face it – the climate has changed every minute of every day for as long as this planet has existed – and will continue to do so regardless of well intentioned mutterings from Greta Thunberg, hypocrite Al Gore, dysfunctional (he of the missing marbles) geriatric Joe Biden and many other misguided individuals and groups around the world who think we can somehow change it. We are but ants to the planet. A minor irritant.
But I digress. We have survived so many massive disasters over many years, yet today, at a time when the planet has more access to immediate information and science than ever in the history of the world, we can’t rely on our media or any of our leaders, scientists – ANYBODY.
We are living in an age of misinformation and nonsensical partisan bullshit of extraordinary proportions. We are being lied to daily and eventually, the pendulum will swing too far.
None of us is here on a permanent basis. If heart disease, cancer or stroke don’t get us, some other lurgy or accident eventually will. What is it that’s so odd or unique about Covid-19?
A jet aircraft reaches a point on the runway where the only option left is lift off and that’s where we ended up with Covid-19 way back in January 2020. Instead of realizing there were some issues to be sorted and circling back to a safe landing, our leaders panicked and catastrophised the whole thing. Too busy arse covering for where it all started because so many were implicated. From the dishonest and totally inept WHO through to political leaders, to the idiot computer modellers and a hysterical media.
On full thrust, we rocketed from crisis to crisis – blunder to blunder. We destroyed the world’s economy through lockdowns and masks and social distancing and double masks and even triple masks.
And still it goes on……..
Eventually the numbers will tell all and the truth will come out. When that happens there will be many red faces and some should end up in jail.
But whatever happens, the truth about Covid-19 might well turn out to be as simple as this:
Chicken Little likes to walk in the woods. She likes to look at the trees. She likes to smell the flowers. She likes to listen to the birds singing.
One day while she is walking an acorn falls from a tree, and hits the top of her little head.
– My, oh, my, the sky is falling. I must run and tell the lion about it, – says Chicken Little and begins to run.
She runs and runs. By and by she meets the hen.
– Where are you going? – asks the hen.
– Oh, Henny Penny, the sky is falling and I am going to the lion to tell him about it.
– How do you know it? – asks Henny Penny.
– It hit me on the head, so I know it must be so, – says Chicken Little.
– Let me go with you! – says Henny Penny. – Run, run.
So the two run and run until they meet Ducky Lucky.
– The sky is falling, – says Henny Penny. – We are going to the lion to tell him about it.
– How do you know that? – asks Ducky Lucky.
– It hit Chicken Little on the head, – says Henny Penny.
– May I come with you? – asks Ducky Lucky.
– Come, – says Henny Penny.
So all three of them run on and on until they meet Foxey Loxey.
– Where are you going? – asks Foxey Loxey.
– The sky is falling and we are going to the lion to tell him about it, – says Ducky Lucky.
– Do you know where he lives? – asks the fox.
– I don’t, – says Chicken Little.
– I don’t, – says Henny Penny.
– I don’t, – says Ducky Lucky.
– I do, – says Foxey Loxey. – Come with me and I can show you the way.
He walks on and on until he comes to his den.
– Come right in, – says Foxey Loxey.
They all go in, but they never, never come out again.
