Democrat supporters insist against all evidence that sleepy, creepy Joe Biden won the first presidential debate, no question about it.
In which case, you’d be forgiven for thinking that they’d be itching to see two more rounds of the Bad Orange Man getting his comeuppance.
Ha.
In reality, as they have for the last four years, Democrats are flipping the table and screaming and crying that the debates have to be cancelled faster than a celebrity who dares publicly question the stunning bravery of a hairy he-hulk in a dress…
Unhinged liberals are demanding the debates be canceled, calling the first debate “stupid,” with one loon claiming that the debates are a “danger to public safety and a direct threat to black life.” Seriously, she said that.
These aren’t your common-or-garden Twitter lefties screaming helplessly at the sky, either. These are supposedly “serious” journalists and political commentators.

“Cancel the other debates. This is stupid. Trump is only there to grunt, scratch and howl,” said Walter Schaub, a former swamp rat who was apparently a government ethics official.
Remember, these are the same people who’ve demanded the eradication of the Electoral College, banning in-person voting, suspension of the normal process of Supreme Court postings, and every other democratic institution that stands in the way of them assuming the unchallenged power they feel entitled to.
A columnist from the left-wing rag The Atlantic wrote an entire article which promotes the idea, concluding, “If the CPD (Council on Presidential Debates) really wishes to benefit the American electorate, it should cancel the rest of the debate season.”
To his credit, David Graham spread his criticism among the president, Biden, and moderator Chris Wallace.
Less to his credit, Graham slammed the president for what he said was a “refusal” to condemn white nationalism and militia groups, while disregarding the fact that Wallace never asked Biden to do the same of Black Lives Matter and Antifa radicals.
It’s also a lie, of course. As the transcript shows, Trump answered debate “moderator” Chris Wallace’s loaded question.
While Trump did say that the Proud Boys should “stand back and stand-by,” President Trump got a bit waylaid by the fact Wallace never made that request of Biden.
It was clear given the tone and tenor of the questions that Wallace was playing a game of “gotcha” with the president.
Even with the scales so obviously weighted in their favour with partisan moderators and, according to some online hawk-eyes, a wired-for-sound Biden (remember in 2016, the debate “moderator” confessed to leaking Hillary Clinton the night’s questions), Democrat supporters realise that their candidate is still losing.
So, they do what they always do: cry and sulk and demand to take their bat and ball and go home.

Even President Trump’s positive COVID diagnosis needn’t kybosh the debate schedule. If the president quarantines for 14 days, that would only delay the next debate by a day or two.
